This post on Apartment Therapy blew my mind. I literally sat here saying, out loud, "Whaaaaaat? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?" Pooktre Tree Shapers, based in Australia, have shaped trees into chairs, tables and more. The couple who started the business grows five pieces of furniture a year. Amazing, no?

I remember seeing a braided tree in a restaurant when I was little. My grandfather explained the whole process to me, but of course I don't remember what he said. Furniture, though?! That's amazing.
i want one!... shade and comfort and oxygen all at once?!... that would be heaven!
